Artist's Description

I captured this image at the 2016 Little Bighorn Battle Re-enactment, at the actual site where the battle took place, June 1876. Here the Cavalry is preparing for battle. The U.S. 7th Cavalry, including the Custer Battalion, a force of 700 men led by George Armstrong Custer, suffered a major defeat. Five of the 7th Cavalry's twelve companies were annihilated; Custer was killed, as were two of his brothers, a nephew, and a brother-in-law.

Welcome to my natural world style of Fine Art Photography . I'm an amateur photographer who has a passion for taking photos of nature, wildlife, architecture and other venues. My intent as a photographer is to present an image that arouses the curiosity of the viewer and provokes the viewer to think, to ask a question or simply to gaze in thoughtful wonder. I believe that experiencing the Earth's beauty through photography will help nourish and unify us, on a personal and global level. I hope to contribute uplifting imagery that will inspire and nurture a sense of hope and affection for the natural world.
